The festival is self-funded and the price reflects tutor fees and administration costs. Because we've moved online this year the overhead costs are lower, as such the new tickets price reflects this. I have tried to keep the costs down as much as possible in order to provide you with value for money.

It might be possible for you to get funding to attend the festival. There are various organisations offering professional development funding including Creative Scotland, PRS Foundation, Help Musicians UK, Scottish Music Centre as well as some local councils.

If you are planning to apply for funding please get in touch and I may be able to help!

I'm delighted to be able to offer 4 bursaries this year for those who may find fees a prohibitive barrier to attending the weekend. There are two fully funded place, and two partially funded places available  (a half price discount which makes the weekend cost £60). To be considered for a funded place please send 100 words explaining how the funding would benefit you to by end of the day on 29th July.
